About Course

  • Course Title: National Certificate in Biomedical Engineering
  • Duration: 2 Years

Requirements for Students to enroll

  1. Either; Ordinary Level Secondary Education/Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or its equivalent, with at least a Credit in Mathematics and a Pass 8 in English Language, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, obtained before the sitting of (UCE) of 2024, Or;
  2. Ordinary Level Secondary Education/Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or its equivalent, with at least Grade D in English Language and Mathematics; Grade C in each of these subjects – Physics, Chemistry and Biology, obtained at the sitting of (UCE) of 2024, under the Uganda new Lower Secondary Curriculum, Or;
  3. Advanced Level Secondary Education/Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) or its equivalent students who would wish to do a certificate in Nursing or Midwifery, but who must fulfil requirements in 7.1.2 (i) and (ii) above, Or; 
  4.  Diploma or Degree holders or higher, who want to diversify their profession, but who must also fulfil requirements in 7.1.2. (i) and (ii) above.
